Impressions
Impressions are the indentation or depression made by the pressure of one object on or into another. Okay, that doesn't relate to what I want to talk about Impressions are the indentation or depression made by one person(or more) on another. Yes, it is what people immediately judge you to be within seconds of meeting you. We all derive impressions from clothes, shoes, hair, voice, facial expression, walking steps, or even how he looks at people. This is a function of instincts, they immediately relate what features you're seeing in this person to where you saw it before, how the other person treated you and what you should expect from this person. All these happen within seconds, that's how marvellously our brain works. Impressions are very important and useful in our daily activities. We are capable of making two types of impressions on people, to give somebody the wrong impression: to give somebody the wrong idea, the incorrect feeling, the mistaken view, the unsound belief, and to make a good impression: to impress; to create a good feeling, to give people a good opinion.
